Bandana - Oak Bluffs and Other Beaches
Ama discovered a treasure trove of Mid-Century historical photographs of historic Black beaches while researching Juneteenth. This bandana is a little tribute to that history. The design takes some inspiration from vintage travel bandanas and kerchiefs that were popular in the 40's. 50's and 60's. This is also a nod to being back at the beach with friends after our pandemic summer.
